Duchesne College is proud to announce a new Alumni Awards program to be held annually from 2023 to highlight the outstanding achievements of the wise women in our community.

At Duchesne College, we strive to create an environment shaped by Sacred Heart goals that provides the foundation for wise young women to emerge as empowered, connected future leaders. Many of our alumni have embodied this commitment in outstanding ways – from philanthropic endeavors, to living lives of service and contributing to communities at a local, national or international level, to those who have excelled and achieved in their chosen field of endeavor or profession.

Two key awards will be presented each year for the following categories:

The Duchesne College Outstanding Alumni Award
  • Alumni may be recognised for their outstanding efforts over a sustained period in one or more of the award criteria.
The Duchesne College Inspirational Young Alumni Award
  • This award recognises the achievements of alumni under the age of 40 years, who have made a significant impact in their field of endeavour in one or more of the award criteria.

2023 marked the launch of our annual Alumni Awards. Inspirational Young Alumni, Katie Norbury DC’13 and Jane Britt DC’05, and Outstanding Alumni, The Honourable Dr Mary Crawford AM DC’64 and Her Honour Judge Julie Dick SC DC’70 were the first recipients of the awards, acknowledging their professional and personal achievements, and outstanding contributions to our community.
