A range of leadership roles at Duchesne will prepare you for life after university – it’s a key part of the Duchesne Advantage.
And the good news is, you won’t have to wait until your third year for an opportunity to lead. There’s lots of ways you can get involved with College life and build your leadership experiences.
But to help you find your feet when you’re new to Duchesne, our Big Sister Little Sister program is a great start, pairing second and third-year residents with first-year students studying similar disciplines. This not only helps to build a culture that embraces all year levels across the College, but also provides an extra layer of academic support.
There are opportunities to take a leadership role in the activities the College coordinates, or by volunteering or joining a committee, convening a sport or taking on a more specific leadership role in senior years.
You can also apply for one of the many leadership positions on the Student Club Executive, as a Resident Leader, or as a Year-Level Representative.
