The health and safety of our students, staff and the broader community is our number one priority at Duchesne College.
In 2022, Duchesne College will continue to minimise the COVID-19 risk to our students and staff as much as possible by:
- continuing to shape our response in line with Australian and Queensland Government advice
- following our COVIDSafe Action Plan.
Changes to the vaccine mandate from Semester 2, 2022
With the lifting of COVID restrictions by State and Federal Governments, The University of Queensland, and the community more generally as we learn to live with COVID-19, Duchesne College will suspend mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements from 1 July 2022.
However, as vaccination is a crucial part of the public health response to the COVID-19 pandemic and is the most effective protection for our community, we strongly encourage all residents, associate members, staff, contractors and visitors to Duchesne College to stay up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations.
