ENROLMENT OFFER

I’ve had an interview, when will I receive an offer?

Once you have completed your interview, your application will be assessed by the Dean of Students and Deputy Head of College (Students). We have several offer rounds starting from June right through to the start of the new academic year (depending on room availability). All offers are at the discretion of the Head of College and in line with our Enrolment Policy

I don’t have an offer from a university yet, do I still need to accept my offer of a place and pay my deposit?

To secure your place at Duchesne, you need to accept your offer and pay the deposit by the due date as per your offer letter. If you are unsuccessful in gaining an offer at a tertiary institution in Brisbane, and you’re no longer able to take up your place at Duchesne College, you’ll need to provide documentary evidence to be eligible for a refund of your deposit.

I want to take a gap year; can I accept my offer for 2025 and defer to 2026?

Yes, you can! You will need to pay the required deposit and request in writing that you wish to defer your place until 2026.

Fees are reviewed annually, and 2025 fees will be published in late-November 2024.  In the interim, please refer to our website for the current fees.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

All places offered are conditional on receipt of the deposit and commencement fee. Deposits must be paid by the due date as stated in your offer letter.
