Our beloved Sister Kathleen Muirhead rscJ has decided to embark on the next phase of the journey of her life and will move out of College residence in December into an Independent Living Unit in Bardon.

In May 2021, The University of Queensland presented the residential colleges at UQ with an unprecedented matching offer to secure the future of our Bursary program. UQ offered to set aside dollar-for-dollar fund matching on 30 June this year for bursaries to Colleges, matching pledges from donors for up to five years. As a result, the $2.5 million ‘Create Change, Create Wise Women’ campaign was established at Duchesne College.
We know that success takes hard work, and that it comes in various forms. But for five Duchesne students, it took the shape of a straight-sevens Semester One in 2021 – an outstanding achievement. We asked them what they believed was the secret to their success and what their career ambitions are looking like.
